Please take some time to review these terms and conditions before using the site.  Your use of the www.signoria.com Web Site constitutes your agreement to follow the terms & Conditions and be bound by them.  If you do not agree with these terms & conditions please do not use our site.

This document refers, in these General Terms, to “Client” meaning both individuals aged over 18 and legal entities.

The resale, rental or transfer for any commercial purposes or for profit of products purchased on the Website is expressly prohibited.

The Terms & Conditions may change at any time and Signoria Di Firenze LLC reserves the right to modify or update them at any time without prior notice.  Your use of the web site following any such changes constitutes your agreement to be bound by the changes.

Signoria cannot ship outside of the United States orders made through this web site; please contact customer service for deliveries outside the Country

2.Acceptance

The Client’s order is expressly limited to and made conditional upon the Client’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If the Client provides to Signora any preprinted terms and conditions on any purchase order or other form document, they will be without force and effect unless Signoria agrees in writing to modify these Terms and Conditions or to state that these Terms and Conditions will not apply. The Client acknowledges that the prices stated are predicated on the enforceability of these Terms and Conditions, that the prices would be substantially higher if these Terms and Conditions did not apply, and that the Client accepts these Terms and Conditions in exchange for such lower prices.

Signoria deems material and objects to and rejects any terms and conditions which are additional to or different from these Terms and Conditions, which Signoria has not separately agreed to in writing. Signoria deems the Client to have waived any objection to these Terms and Conditions if Signoria has not received written notice of such objection from the Client within ten (10) days. The Client will, in any event, be deemed to have agreed to all of these Terms and Conditions if the Client accepts any part of the products referenced in the quote or order. 

3.Prices and Payment Terms

The prices of the items chosen are displayed on the site and are subject to changes and updates. Please check the final price on the checkout page before submitting the order. The final cost will include product price, state and local taxes where appropriate, and shipping costs. Signoria reserves the right to cancel any order in the case of incorrect pricing or typographical error.

The payment will be made solely through one of the payment methods indicated which are by several credit card options or PayPal®.  In either case, the items ordered will only be confirmed and sent after the consumer’s credit card or PayPal information has been verified and authorized by the bank or PayPal. If, for whatever reason, the payment has not been authorized and confirmed, the order will be automatically cancelled.

 4.Order Confirmation, Shipment and Delivery

The consumer will receive an order confirmation with an estimated ship date of between three (3) and fourteen (14) business days. Once stock availability is determined the consumer will receive an updated shipping date.  

The items purchased will be delivered to the shipping address indicated by the Client in the order form via a third party chosen by Signoria. You will receive a shipment tracking number via Email. No shipment can be made to a PO Box. Please contact your local post office on how to have packages delivered to your post office if they offer that service. 

Shipping costs are borne by the client and are displayed separately on the web site order form.

The terms of delivery shown on the web site and in the order confirmation shall be intended as the usual number of days to dispatch the order. Deliveries shall be made in any case within 30 days of the order confirmation except in cases of unpredictable events or Force Majeure.

5.Right to Cancel or Make Changes

The Client may cancel his/her order up until the time that it is shipped.  Please contact customer service via Email or phone to inquire if you are able to cancel the order. If the order has not been shipped and you still wish to cancel we will cancel and confirm via Email. Refunds for cancellations will be made within 7-10 days of the cancellation date to the original payment method. Once shipped you cannot cancel the order but can return the merchandise according to our “Returns Policy”. You cannot make changes to an order.  In case you wish to make a change to an order not yet shipped, we suggest you cancel the order and submit a new order with the changes.

6.Product Information

The sale of the products shown on this website is subject to the products availability. While Signoria makes its best efforts to maintain our website up to date, some ordered items may be temporarily or definitively out of stock.

The products displayed online may be subject to a stock limit and there is no guarantee that they will be available in every size or color.  Signoria disclaims any liability in relation to item, size or color availability.

If an ordered item is temporarily unavailable for immediate shipment, Signoria will notify the Client by e-mail or phone call, and the Client may elect to ship only the available products or to cancel the whole order. If the item is not available at all, the Client will receive a refund within 7 to 10 business days if his/her credit card has been charged. The refund will be made to the original method of payment.

SIGNORIA PROVIDES THE CLIENT WITH THE LIMITED WARRANTIES DESCRIBED HEREIN. These warranties apply to products purchased from this website, and apply only under conditions of normal use, subject to certain limitations and exclusions.

Product information is displayed on the website, including general fabric care.  Please refer to detailed care instructions for each item.  Photographs of the items are provided for illustrative purposes and shopping convenience only.  Signoria has made every attempt to depict as accurately as possible product colors.  However, due to browsers and monitors used by the client, we cannot guarantee that the display of color on your monitor is accurate.

7.Limited warranty

All products sold by Signoria are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service when used according to our written instructions. The Client acknowledges to have determined that the products are suitable to meet the Client’s intended use. The products of Signoria are not warranted against normal wear and tear, commercial use or accidents, abuse or neglect or from damage resulting from improper use.

THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESSED, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. This warranty is not transferable.

8.Limitations on actions and liability 

All claims or lawsuits against Signoria must be brought within one (1) year from the date the claim accrues. SIGNORIA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE OR INJURY RESULTING FROM DELAY IN DELIVERY OF THE PRODUCTS OR FOR ANY FAILURE TO PERFORM THAT IS DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND THE CONTROL OF SIGNORIA. THE MAXIMUM LIABILITY OF SIGNORIA, IF ANY, FOR ALL DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION CONTRACT DAMAGES AND DAMAGES FOR INJURIES TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY, WHETHER ARISING FROM OUR BREACH OF THIS AGREEMENT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHER TORT WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS, IS LIMITED TO AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCTS. IN NO EVENT SHALL SIGNORIA BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST REVENUES AND PROFITS, OR ATTORNEYS’ FEES OR COSTS, EVEN IF SIGNORIA HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE RIGHT TO RECOVER DAMAGES WITHIN THE LIMITATIONS SPECIFIED IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE ALTERNATIVE REMEDY IN THE EVENT THAT ANY OTHER REMEDY UNDER THESE TERMS FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold Signoria and our affiliates harmless from and against all liabilities, losses, claims, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) related to any claim, investigation, litigation or proceeding which arises or is alleged to arise from the Client’s acts or omissions under these Terms and Conditions, or in any way with respect to Signoria’s products.

Thank you for your interest in purchasing Signoria Firenze bed linens designed and made in Tuscany, Italy for the past eighty years. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will gladly issue a refund. Please note the following instructions:

Standard Product Return

• Items need to be returned within 30 days of receipt

• The items need to be returned in the original packaging unused and unlaundered

• We do not accept exchanges but invite you to return unwanted items and make a new purchase

• Items need to be returned to our customer service facility for inspection; please do not return to any retail partner

• Please use the UPS return label that is enclosed for your convenience.  There are no return shipping or restocking charges.

• Eligible returns will be refunded, in full including taxes, except for the initial shipping charge, to the original payment method within 7-10 business days of receipt of the return.  You will receive an email notifying you of the refund once processed

Non-Conforming Product Return

Signoria Firenze has been producing bed linens for the past eighty years and takes pride in its craftsmanship and quality control. In the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect it is important to provide us with the details of what you consider the defect to be.  Please follow this procedure to insure a prompt resolution. 

Follow the above “Return Procedure” by filling out the PDF form

• If returning the entire order no need to itemize the items being returned; if a partial return please list the items and quantities

• Please check the box next to “Damaged” or “Defective” and provide a brief explanation of the damage or defect

• You will receive a Return Authorization Number (RA #) and UPS return label in 3-5 days

• Package in the original carton if possible and place of copy of the PDF form in the carton for easy identification and speed of processing the claim of damage or defect

• If we agree with your claim we will ask you if you prefer a replacement or a refund

Returns for defect made outside of the 30 days return policy
